Time after time we come across home owners that have bought their dream home and decorated it accordingly only to later find out there is horrific electrical wiring hiding behind those beautiful walls and painted ceilings! When buying and selling a home the electrics are often over looked and not even considered. We’re often asked to fit Class 1 accessories (Metal lights, sockets and switches) but on inspection finding out there is no cpc (earth wire) or rcd (residual current device) to allow the disconnection in the event of a fault… in short were not allowed to fit them as all of our work conforms to the latest regulations! Plus we wouldn’t want to on a moral point as your safety is our number one priority!

With a lot of failed light fittings, with the change of the clocks to GMT it suddenly became apparent how dark the house had become. Steve was able to fit us in at short notice and replace over 20 fittings in half a day at a very reasonable rate. An excellent service.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Steve. His response times were excellent turning up exactly when he said he would. Work was too a very high standard and included a full survey, necessary re-wiring and fitting of a new consumer unit. All for a competitive and fair price.

As always a great job. Steve has done a number of jobs, from putting up new lights, inside and outside, wiring in a new cooker, up-grading our consumer unit and tracking down a fault with our dish washer. He’s always been a trusted and hardworking man and we wouldn’t call anyone else. Oh, and he doesn’t have sugar in his tea! Thanks for all your help.

Steve completed an electrical installation for us, and we could not fault the service. Steve attended the property to discuss the work at the agreed time, supplied a quotation promptly, and arrived at the arranged time to complete the work. It was easy to book a slot for the quote and for the work to be undertaken, through a digital calendar. The invoice was prompt and we received a video showing the completed work (which was undertaken at a rental property). All in all this was a 5 star experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend.

Great service and very helpful. MES rescued me in a DIY crisis. Ran into a problem with replacing a broken light switch with a new one that didn’t work on a Sunday evening. Txt’d MES more in hope than expectation and got an instant positive reply. They looked me one out from their parts bin which I collected a few minutes later.
